On Wednesday the 3rd of February at 7pm the Astronomical Society of Albury Wodonga is hosting a presentation and equipment demonstration by local astrophotographer Carl Rainer (http://www.skiesbynight.com/) on getting setup for photography through a telescope.
Carl describes himself as a backyard astronomer specialising in deep sky and nightscape astrophotography. The talk will cover everything thing from telescope and mount options, accessories, capture techniques and post processing. It will be held in the main lecture theater at LaTrobe University Wodonga. Cost is Free.
So if you are interested in learning more about how to take photographs through a telescope and achieve images like the one attached be sure to come along for what promises to be an informative evening.
